The equestrian competition took place in Grub/AR from June 7 to 9, 2025.
The weekend of June 7 to 9 was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved here in Grub AR! On Saturday, our tournament began with great anticipation and excitement: The “guest” riders got to know their horses and made initial contacts. The weather gods weren’t entirely on our side – it started to rain – but that couldn’t dampen our spirits. On Sunday morning, under cloudy skies, we started with the Showmanship discipline. Here, the horse is presented in hand, with the focus primarily on body language, trust, and precise communication. Our athletes impressively demonstrated how subtly a horse can be guided with clear body language. Afterward, we continued with Trail tasks – everything from guided walking to ridden canter courses was included. All participants mastered the obstacles with flying colors and showed how well they could memorize and execute a course. On Monday, under bright sunshine, we also got to experience the dressage tests and the popular Team Relays. It became clear once again with how much joy, concentration, and team spirit our athletes competed. The emotions we were privileged to witness on these days were simply unique – they mean more than any praise. The moment when our riders proudly receive their medal and ribbon is something very special for all of us. A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved for this wonderful tournament!
