The floorball tournament in Sargans took place on November 22, 2025.
On Saturday, November 22, 2025, a floor hockey tournament was held at the Riet sports facility in Sargans as part of Special Olympics. A total of 19 teams with around 180 players participated – a strong sign of the enthusiasm and diversity in Special Olympics sports.
After a group finding phase in the morning, the teams were divided into four categories in the afternoon and played for the tournament victory. The matches were balanced, exciting and characterized by fair play and team spirit. Particularly impressive: A total of 260 goals were scored during the tournament – clear proof of the high level of commitment and enthusiasm of all participants.
The tournament not only offered sporting highlights, but also many wonderful encounters and a motivating atmosphere that impressively reflected the spirit of Special Olympics. A heartfelt thank you goes to all the players, the coaches, helpers, the entire organizing committee, and the sponsors, who together contributed to a successful tournament day.
