She always moderates the festive opening ceremony with confidence and a lot of passion. But also during the competition days, the always cheerful Ticino native is an extremely popular guest, takes time for selfies, chats casually in all languages with the athletes, or gives autographs. On the occasion of the last World Summer Games Abu Dhabi 2019, the committed ambassador visited Team Switzerland first in the training camp in Tenero and was then on site in Abu Dhabi as an enthusiastic fan \u2013 a huge highlight for the Swiss delegation.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Since my first assignment for Special Olympics at the National Games, I have had a warm and loving contact with the athletes.
