On Sunday, April 13, 2024, Zurich Main Station will become a stage for the sport of Floorball as part of the U19 Floorball World Championship. And Special Olympics Switzerland is right in the middle of it: From 9:00 a.m., we will be on site with a stand and offer information about our sports programs. At the Discovery Day, children, adolescents and adults with disabilities can playfully experience the sport (start at 1:00 p.m., you can register at our stand until 12:30 p.m.).
A special highlight: Our Special Olympics floorball team, which participated in the World Games 2025 in Turin, will be officially honored – and before that, at 2:00 PM, they will play a friendly match against the Vindonissa Tigers, another dedicated Special Olympics team.
