About us

Special Olympics Switzerland opens up access to movement, play, and sport for people with intellectual disabilities.
They experience respect and appreciation and enjoy unforgettable moments. Through sport, they develop both physically and personally and fully realize their strengths.

Get Involved

Become part of the movement: Whether in sports, in the organization, in the Family Network, or as a partner, there are many ways to get involved. With your commitment, donation, or support, you open up new opportunities for athletes, promote their athletic development, and make unforgettable experiences possible.

Sport

Discover our diverse range of sports and exercise programs: from low-threshold taster courses such as the Discovery Days, to one- to multi-day competitions in your sport, to training and further education modules. Here you will find what suits you.

For our athletes, sport is far more than just movement: It strengthens body and mind, sustainably promotes personal development, and creates a true community.

With your donation, you make regular sports and exercise programs, new friendships, and unforgettable goosebump moments possible – from small regional competitions and Discovery Days to the National Games or even the World Games.
