On October 24, 45 athletes from five sports groups came together for the Special Olympics Pétanque Tournament at the Boulodrome in Trimbach. For the first time, the team from Bad Heustrich Emdthal also took part.
The joy of reuniting after the National Games in Zug was huge. But there was plenty of sporting action too: precise throws, close calls, and thrilling duels kept everyone excited. Every successful throw was celebrated, before the teams received their well-earned medals at the lively award ceremony.
A big thank you to all the athletes, coaches, and especially to the Pétanque Club Trimbach for their fantastic support and for making this such a great day of sport!
