We certainly have an exciting opportunity for you and would be delighted to welcome you as a volunteer.
You will cheer and celebrate with the athletes at events. You can use your organizational talent, language skills, manual dexterity, empathetic nature, or other abilities with us.
Volunteer Opportunities
For large events such as Regional or National Games, volunteers are recruited directly by the local organizing committee. They are deployed in areas such as catering, setup, route marshals, medal ceremonies, etc.
The next National Games will take place in Zug in 2026. You can find more information here.
However, at Special Olympics itself, we are always looking for active and sometimes regular support. As a non-profit foundation, our resources are limited, which is why we are grateful for your commitment. You can find the details for each role in the short volunteer profiles in the left column. The corresponding contact person for each role can also be found in the job profile.
