Special Olympics not only offers competitions in a variety of sports, but also promotes the development of inclusive sports in regular mass sports events. Thanks to many years of cooperation with a wide variety of sports event organizers, inclusive offers have been continuously added, such as the Visana Sprint, the UBS Kids Cup and Mille Gruyère for all, each of which offers an adapted category for children with disabilities.
At the Visana Sprint for all, kids with disabilities compete in two races over 60m (standing athletes) or 80m (athletes in wheelchairs). Read more here: Visana Sprint for all | Visana Sprint
The UBS Kids Cup for all includes the Weltklasse Zürich Sprint (60 m), a long jump (zone) and a ball throw (200 g). You can find the starting options here: UBS Kids Cup for all – UBS Kids Cup
At the Mille Gruyère for all, athletes with disabilities can gain experience in the middle-distance sector and compete on the circular track over 600m. More information here: Mille Gruyère for all | Mille Gruyere
