On September 6th, a Golf Charity Tournament benefiting Special Olympics Switzerland took place in Grindelwald for the first time.
28 golfers teed off with great passion. They used the opportunity not only to be physically active, but also to make an important contribution with their participation. The result is impressive: 6,500 francs were collected for Special Olympics on this day.
This amount goes directly to our programs, so that we can continue to provide people with disabilities access to sports. Golf also plays a role – because Golf is one of the sports offered by Special Olympics Switzerland. Among others, Swiss golfers were represented at the Special Olympics World Games in Abu Dhabi, Berlin or Los Angeles.
A heartfelt thank you goes to all participants and supporters of the tournament. Your commitment makes it possible for us to continue to offer our athletes unforgettable sporting experiences.
