Kurt Hartmeier-Stamm receives the KIWANIS AWARD 2025 for his commitment to people with intellectual disabilities

At the annual Kiwanis Convention, which took place in Eastern Switzerland at the beginning of September, Kurt Hartmeier-Stamm was honored for his commitment to people with intellectual disabilities.

He was presented with the KIWANIS AWARD 2025 as a sign of appreciation because, on his own initiative, he launched and developed the ‘Special Curling’ project in 2015, a training and competition program for people with intellectual disabilities. With unparalleled dedication, he not only established this sport but has also elevated it to a Special Olympics level.

We warmly congratulate Kurt Hartmeier-Stamm on this well-deserved honor.
