An important day for coaches

Ice skating event with audience and presentation

On Saturday, March 14, 2026, the information day for the National Summer Games Zug 2026 took place—an important milestone on the road to this major event. More than 300 coaches, support staff, Technical Delegates and officials met in the OYM Hall for a joint briefing.

The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the Games and Special Olympics Switzerland provided comprehensive information on all relevant topics—from logistics and venues to catering and schedules, right through to communications. Afterwards, all participants had the opportunity to visit the competition venues and clarify any open questions directly.

Thank you to everyone who took the time for this important day. A very special thank-you goes to the LOC, whose outstanding work, incredible commitment and attention to detail will surely ensure that the Games will be an unforgettable experience.
