Large conference in modern arena with thousands of participants

The decision has been made: Special Olympics Switzerland’s National Summer Games 2030 will take place from 12 to 16 June 2030 in Yverdon-les-Bains.

With its compelling bid, strong infrastructure and long-standing commitment to inclusion in sport, the Vaud city has secured the hosting rights for the largest national sporting event for people with intellectual disabilities.

Several thousand athletes, coaches, volunteers and visitors from all over Switzerland are expected in Yverdon-les-Bains. Over five days, sporting performances and unforgettable encounters will take centre stage. The National Summer Games 2030 are also intended to have an impact far beyond sport and leave a lasting legacy for the region.

Special Olympics Switzerland is looking forward to working with the City of Yverdon-les-Bains, the Canton of Vaud and the organising committee. Together, we will put on an unforgettable sports festival.
