Recognition of Youth+Sport and Sport+Handicap EDUCATION
The Special Olympics “Sport” module is recognized by Sport+Handicap EDUCATION and Jugend+Sport as an advanced training course. To receive J+S recognition, participants must have J+S leader recognition “Youth Sports” in any sport or have completed the module “J+S inclusive – Sports with and without disabilities.”
Interdisciplinary module “J+S inclusive – Sports with and without disabilities”
Through the interdisciplinary module “J+S inclusive – Sports with and without disabilities,” J+S leaders, or rather coaches, can further educate themselves on the topic and gain confidence for implementation in daily training.
Based on practical examples, learning aids, and information on the topic, the courses show what needs to be considered in a J+S activity with a diverse group. The successfully completed module grants the recognition add-on “Inclusive.”
Special Olympics recommends participation in this module.
