Anja van Helden is a passionate Special Olympics athlete – and actively advocates on the Foundation Board for the concerns and perspectives of her fellow athletes.
She works with toddlers in a playgroup and is also active at ConSol Berufliche Perspektiven, where she, among other things, produces drinking glasses. In her free time, sports are an integral part of her life: Anja trains in Athletics, plays football and Tennis – with great joy and ambition.
As a Foundation Board member, she directly contributes her voice and perspective to the strategic work of Special Olympics Switzerland – ensuring that the needs of the athletes are heard, understood, and represented.
I want us athletes to be able to have a say – and for everyone to see what we are capable of.
