On September 12, 2026, nearly 40 athletes gathered in Wohlen for the athletics meeting. Under bright sunshine and ideal competition conditions, the program featured various disciplines such as sprint, middle-distance, shot put, ball throw, long jump, the 4×100 m relay, and the pentathlon.
Following the divisioning rounds in the morning, the athletes showed great commitment, competitive spirit, and joy for the sport during the finals in the afternoon. They fought for every second, every meter, and every point—in the end, many beaming faces ensured a successful conclusion to the day of competition.
A heartfelt thank you goes to all participating delegations as well as to Marlis and Jürg Meier for the fantastic organization and their great dedication. Thanks to you, the meeting was once again a completely successful day of sport!
