Simon Ammann Makes a Statement and Joins in at Bundesplatz

People with disabilities are still often excluded in everyday life. The Inclusion Initiative demands more self-determination and participation for these people, and Special Olympics advocates for more inclusion, especially in sports.

Yesterday, the Inclusion Initiative, which collected over 108,000 valid signatures, was submitted to the Federal Chancellery. Over 1,300 people with and without disabilities gathered in the cheerful colors of the initiative to celebrate this great success. Among those at the forefront were Simon Ammann, President of Special Olympics Switzerland, and Bruno Barth, President of World Winter Games Switzerland 2029. Together with Special Olympics athletes, they personally handed over some signature boxes.
