Curling Highlight in Bern

Ice skaters on the Curling rink

On March 15, 16 teams from all over Switzerland competed against each other in the curling hall in Bern at the 6th Special Curling Masters. After exciting preliminary rounds and fair final games, teams from Amriswil, St. Gallen, and Meiringen prevailed in their groups. However, the focus was not only on sporting success, as all teams ultimately celebrated personal progress and shared experiences on the ice.

The award ceremony, led by City Councillor Ursina Anderegg, brought many smiling faces. Organizer Kurt Hartmeier-Stamm was also enthusiastic: exciting games, great emotions, and thoroughly satisfied participants.

A special moment was the performance by the bagpipe group “City of Berne Piping Society,” which gave the event a festive and almost magical conclusion.
