We are delighted to welcome Regula Keller to Special Olympics Switzerland. She is taking over as project manager for our legacy project “Simply Healthy” and will work together with institutions across Switzerland to further develop and sustainably establish physical activity programs for people with intellectual disabilities.
Regula brings a wealth of experience to this role. Most recently, she led the inclusion project at UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch, working to ensure that inclusion is naturally integrated into the tourism environment. She has worked closely with partner organizations and built strong networks. Her professional background spans hospitality and gastronomy to marketing and event management. “I’m thrilled to bring all this experience to Special Olympics Switzerland and make a difference together,” says Regula.
In her personal time, Regula loves being outdoors in nature—biking, hiking, windsurfing, wingfoiling, or swimming. She is also particularly passionate about volunteering at sports events. Through her involvement at the World Winter Games in Turin, she discovered her enthusiasm for Special Olympics: “The experience had a lasting impact on me and showed me where I want to dedicate my efforts in the future.”
Dear Regula, a warm welcome to the team! We look forward to working together and wish you a successful start.
