Simply Healthy

Healthy in everyday life, connected through sport

Simply Healthy embeds physical activity and sport into the daily lives of people with disabilities living in institutions. By empowering professionals and establishing health-promoting structures, regular opportunities for movement are created. At the same time, bridges are built to local sports programs to enable sustainable participation in sport beyond the institution.

Why Simply Healthy?

People with disabilities living in residential facilities move significantly less than the average population. Many institutions lack regular movement programs, often due to a lack of resources, structures, or expertise.

This is where the project comes in: It supports institutions in building sustainable structures that enable regular and health-promoting physical activity in the daily lives of their residents.

How we promote sport and physical activity in and with institutions

  • Professional guidance for institutions throughout the entire process
  • Empowering internal staff through training for professionals
  • Networking with existing sport and movement programs outside the institution
