We are very pleased to welcome a new addition to our team: Anita Heiniger is taking over foundation coordination and administration effective immediately. Previously, she worked for many years with the City of Biel, most recently as Head of Administration. There she was responsible for a diverse range of tasks related to human resources, finance, and organization, and among other things, supervised apprentices and individuals in work placements. Anita lives in the Biel region and enjoys staying active in her free time. She especially loves riding her bike or gravel bike.
Now Anita looks forward to her new role with great anticipation: “After many years with the City of Biel, I am very excited about this new challenge, about many interesting encounters, and about bringing my experience to Special Olympics Switzerland while learning a lot of new things at the same time.”
