Cycling at Special Olympics Switzerland offers the disciplines of time trials and road races over various distances. This sport requires balance, concentration, and endurance from the athletes.
Competition Format
- In the time trial discipline, competitions take place over distances from 500m to 2km.
- Road races take place over distances between 5km and 25km.
- It is possible to participate in the competitions with a tandem as a team, as well as with a tricycle.
Special Olympics Switzerland is also invited to international competitions and the World Games. We forward invitations to events abroad to sports groups that are active with us. Further information can be found under International Competitions and World Games.
