Dance Sport has been a project sport of Special Olympics Switzerland since 2024 and is continuously being expanded as a competitive discipline—especially with a view to the 2029 World Games in Switzerland.
Competition Format
- We will hold our tournaments in 2027 and 2028 according to the regulations of Special Olympics Germany.
- The first tournament opportunity will be offered at the Regional Games in Rapperswil.

At the World Winter Games 2025 in Turin, Switzerland was represented for the first time with a dance duo (SRF Sport – Dance pair prepares for the World Games).
